2/22 Breakfast Meet & Greet and Snowbashing Run

By Tony Cobb

We had a great turn out for this last Sunday (2/22) Breakfast Meet and Greet then a following snow run. We held the Breakfast meet and greet at the Western Omelette 7:30am on S Walnut St. We had 14 rigs show up for a great breakfast and some great conversation. It's always fun to get the chance to talk to some new people and old friends about there love of there rigs and the colorado outdoors!! We asked around the group and decided to run the cedar mountain road from Divide to Deckers. 13 rigs ( 4 members, 9 guests) left out from the Western Omelette around 9:00am and rallied at the venture foods in Divide. From there we headed out of Divide to Cedar Mountian road. We took a little break from the trail at the entrance to Mettberry Gultch and took some great pics and stretched the legs. We then continued down the trail and finished coming out at hwy 67 just south of Deckers. At that point the group split and 7 rigs continued on to go play at Mini Moab on the way home. All in all it was a great run!!! The snow was not as deap as we had hoped but we did have falling snow during the majorty of the trip. Thanks to all the braved Snowmaggedon to come out and have a great time!!! Those that could not make it you were missed and we hope to see ya on the next run!!!!
